Farmhouse style furniture is a very practical style that can be built with a very simple set of hand or power tools and is reminiscent of rural living. This style is simple yet structurally sound often using mortise and tenon joinery to create a sound base with a plank style top.
The simplest and least expensive farmhouse style table that we offer is made from pine construction lumber and can be custom made to any dimension. The table above is 8' x 4'.
The above piece was made from Cedar timbers that were removed from a commercial building that was torn down in Southern MN. This piece is a bit more refined but still loaded with character. Unfortunately, this piece already has a home.
